Popular Nigerian singer, Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, known as Spyro has pledged a special performance for the Super Eagles players if they win the AFCON final match against Ivory Coast on Sunday, February 11.
On Instagram, Spyro, known for his hit song ‘No Gree for Anybody‘, promised to support the national team, giving them free shows for any of their desired occasions.
In the final stage of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament, Nigeria’s Super Eagles are set to face off against Ivory Coast’s Elephant team, with Ivory Coast hosting the football match.
With the nation rallying behind the Super Eagles, Spryo revealed that he will perform for free at their events like weddings, birthdays, naming ceremonies, and even funerals of their elders and joked about performing at their honeymoon if they wanted that as well.
He wrote, “If the Super Eagles wins this Sunday ehn…I declare myself free for any player’s occasion, be it marriage, birthday party, naming ceremony, even burial of their old folks, anything abeg even if na honeymoon performance make dem call me.”
He captioned his post, “And I know we will WIN 😎PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT – This sunday ehn @ng_supereagles NO GREE FOR ANYBODY O 😁 let’s go 😎 #NGFA”.
